Pre-Construction

Sherman Homes believes in starting the Client/Builder partnership long before you have an established blueprint.

Lot Selection: Finding your dream lot is a big win. By involving your builder at this stage, we can provide suggestions based on our 50+ years of mountain-building experience.
Robust Bidding Process: We go beyond initial plans. Before there’s even a shovel in the ground, we conduct detailed interviews and comprehensive spec-ing to ensure accurate bids from our network of trusted subcontractors.
Building the Foundation: Our clients select us as their custom builders because we value relationships. You can expect a working partnership based on honesty and integrity from our first meeting to our last (and beyond).

Architecture/Design Phase

Involving Sherman Homes in the design process means our experienced team can translate your vision into a stunning, functional home. We'll provide feedback on design elements, analyze cost implications, and offer insights on structure and finishes. This collaborative approach guarantees a seamless build within your budget and timeframe.

Construction Process

Designing your space with the architect.

Includes the initial meeting, Buildertrend presentation, blank contract, and budget goals.

Sending the signed contract and collecting contract retainer.

Submitting plans for permit.

Going through design specs with the team.

Includes the budget estimate based on specs, allowances, and contractor bids (where applicable).

Diving deep into the budget and specifications and looking for ways to save the client money.

Presenting Control Estimate with backup documents.

Sending purchase orders and scheduling survey.

Getting to work with a Buildertrend session to follow!
